The Regional Vice President of Sales, Americas

The Regional Vice President of Sales, Americas, will spearhead our sales initiatives, strategically expand market share, and drive revenue growth in the Americas. The ideal candidate will possess a progressive mindset, a strong background in advanced manufacturing sales, and a track record of implementing transformative sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Innovation: Develop and execute visionary sales strategies that align with our global goals and objectives, leveraging emerging technologies and market insights to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • People Leader: Lead and inspire a dynamic sales team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand our presence in the Americas by targeting new markets, forging strategic alliances, and nurturing key client relationships.
  • Revenue Optimization: Set ambitious sales targets, closely monitor performance metrics, and implement agile tactics to surpass revenue goals, adapting swiftly to market changes, customer demands, and demand for acceleration of sales.
  • Technological Acumen: Stay abreast of the latest advancements of digital sales systems, data analytics, and customer relationship management tools, integrating them into sales strategies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of sales efforts with product development and marketing strategies.
  • Analytical Insights: Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to assess market trends, evaluate competitor activities, and refine sales strategies for sustained competitive advantage.

Skills & Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA is a plus.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles within the advanced manufacturing sector.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, penetrating new markets, and exceeding revenue targets in a technology-driven environment.
  • Deep understanding of advanced manufacturing technologies, processes, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills, with a focus on fostering innovation and excellence.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven and forward-looking approach to decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel within the region and abroad as needed (50% + Travel)
