CEIs Fortune 50 Client is a world leader in Media and Communications, and they are adding a Telecommunications Solutions Engineer to their remote team.

• Long-term contract with potential for permanent conversion
• 100% Remote position (M-F 8am - 5pm EST)
• $55-60 / HR + Benefits options (medical, dental, vision, and 401k)

Responsibilities: 

​

​

• Responsible for providing senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprise’s overall Telecom architecture.
• Facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, networks and software across the enterprise.
• Analyzes existing networks and equipment and identifies opportunities for improvement, system options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals.
• Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.
• Assists in the development of and manages an architecture governance process.
• Provides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate.
• Tracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprise’s architecture needs.

Required and Desired Skills:

​

​

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years as a Solutions Engineer or Architect with numerous years of Telecom work experience in infrastructure/systems environments performing systems planning, architecture design, Security and optimization.
